Hi, I’m Kyerra, an Associate Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in counseling and experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families. I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and other experiences that can feel overwhelming or difficult to navigate alone. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can feel heard, gain clarity, develop practical coping skills, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
I use an integrative approach, drawing from CBT and motivational interviewing to help clients understand patterns, build coping skills, and create meaningful change. I tailor therapy to each person’s needs, offering a balance of compassion, honest reflection, and practical tools to help you feel more confident moving forward.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out for support. Wherever you are in your journey, I’m here to meet you with understanding, compassion, and no judgment. If you’re ready to take that first step, I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you work toward feeling more like yourself again.

"As a therapist, I believe that every person deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. I draw from my experience while working with diverse individuals and families to create a safe, genuine space where clients can navigate life’s challenges, heal, and grow."
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a counselor because I understand how difficult it can feel to carry life’s challenges while feeling unheard, misunderstood, or as though you have to handle everything on your own. I wanted to become the person for others that I believe everyone deserves to have—a person who listens, understands, and provides a safe space without judgment. My goal is to help each client discover their own version of mental wellness, develop the tools to navigate life’s unexpected challenges, and feel supported rather than alone along the way.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with adults ages (18+) who are navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, stress, trauma, or simply feeling stuck or overwhelmed. I enjoy working with clients who are ready to better understand themselves, explore what may be holding them back, and develop practical tools to create greater balance, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
The healing process is not linear and looks different for everyone.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, my priority is getting to know you and beginning to build a genuine, comfortable therapeutic relationship. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and what you hope to get from our work together. I’ll also explain professional boundaries and what you can expect from me, so you can feel safe, respected, and supported as we begin this journey together.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I believe therapy should be personalized because no two clients or experiences are exactly alike. I take time to understand each client’s needs, goals, strengths, and challenges, then adjust our approach and care plan based on what feels most supportive and beneficial to them. I want therapy to feel collaborative, meaningful, and centered around what works best for you.
