Get to know Brianna
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
I wish clients knew that pursing is not a weakness, it's a strength.
What inspires you?
I am often inspired by beauty in simplicity and enjoyment of small moments. Reflecting on those moments makes me feel encouraged and excited to experience the next thing that could happen.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
Our first session will be structured differently from ongoing sessions. It's more structured in a "getting to know you" type of format, and has more questions than I would usually ask in a session going forward. However, it will still flow like a conversation.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
In our first session, I like to have opportunities to offer feedback to expand on what someone is experiencing. In the first session, I like having therapy goals to help guide the approach to address those goals. However, if you are unsure of goals, that is something that we can work through.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?
I know that a first session can feel worrisome or daunting. It can help to think of what you want to get from therapy to help guide me to understand helpful approaches for you.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I enjoy crocheting, knitting, painting, and watching anime, gaming livestreams, and figure skating.
