About Laura
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) with 16 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families. I help clients navigate relationship concerns, family conflict, parenting challenges, and LGBTQ+–related issues. I strive to create a warm, open, and safe therapeutic space where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek support, and I am here to walk with you as you pursue meaningful change.
I completed my doctoral degree in counseling with a focus on marital, couple, and family therapy at Barry University. My approach is strength-based and tailored to meet you where you are—whether processing the past or navigating the present. I integrate the Gottman method and other evidence-based techniques to simplify challenges and support healing.
Congratulations on taking this step toward becoming the best version of yourself. Therapy is an investment in brighter days ahead, and I look forward to partnering with you as you strengthen insight, build new skills, and move toward the life you want. I am honored to support you and hope to meet you soon

"As a marriage and family therapist coming from a large blended family, I understand the ins and outs of relationships and how they can impact our lives. I have worked with many different individuals and have helped them navigate some of the good, bad, and ugly."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a therapist to allow people an outlet to explore their feelings in a safe and welcoming environment. I specialized in marriage and family therapy as I enjoy helping couples learn how to communicate better and easier.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I feel that I am able to work with most clients that are open to working on themselves. I am able to work well with all ages, but work well with couples and family as well as young adult
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I would like clients to know that they do not have to wait till things are really bad to get help that therapy is something that can help everyone.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
At our initial session a space will be provided for client to open up and navigate life. Client will be allowed to direct session as needed to navigate next steps.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
As a survivor of certain life experiences and strong family values i incorporate some of these
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
It is always important to meet the client where they are at. I believe that we need to create a space where the client feels comfortable so as to start opening the door for change.
