Kimberly Cohens is a Registered Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience. She specializes in assisting adults in navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, LGBTQ+ situations, and self-worth. Kimberly strives to provide a safe, compassionate space for individuals to gain clarity, build coping skills, and foster resilience. She has worked with children in the foster care system and with patients of all ages in psychiatric hospital settings. Kimberly encourages clients to explore various negative thought processes and develop healthier more meaningful ways to deal with problem areas.


Kimberly received her Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. She utilizes a variety of approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based methods.


Kimberly is passionate about helping others reach their goals and believes everyone has strengths that they can use to overcome even the most challenging circumstances. She brings a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to helping others reach their full potential and would be honored to work with you!

What inspires you?

I am inspired everyday knowing that I have been given the opportunity to inspire and help other individuals be the best that they can be with what they do have available to them.

Clients can expect a good listener that is non judgmental and will work with them where ever they are in their life journey.

What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?

I like to meet the client where they are during the first session. I like to allow the client to discuss their truths of the challenges, issues or problems their are experiencing.

What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?

Kimberly is a very compassionate, caring clinician that thrives to meet individuals where they are at in life.

What do you do for fun/on your time off?

Attend the movies, practice yoga, listening to music, attending and volunteering at the local library events, enjoy helping people in the community, attending religious events, flea market, swimming and water aerobics.
