To help them to understand that therapy is a safe space to talk about everything from past to present. To establish some goals of what they hope to gain through our time together and to get a good history of their lives and challenges they may have gone through.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first counseling session?
I am a mother of two and a dog mom. I worked for the Veterans Administration for almost 10 years. I am a Life Span Therapist. I have worked with patients as young as 4 all the way up to 89.
