About Khavita
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 7 years of experience providing therapy to adolescents, adults, and families. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, mood disorders, eating disorders, and major life transitions. I have a strong focus on working with underserved populations and minority communities, supporting clients navigating identity development, cultural stressors, and systemic challenges. My work emphasizes culturally responsive, trauma-informed care in a safe and supportive environment.
I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Trauma-Informed Care, along with psychodynamic and attachment-based approaches. I help clients understand the root causes of emotional patterns, heal from trauma, and improve relationships through deeper insight and practical coping skills.
I recognize the courage it takes to seek support and am dedicated to ensuring each client feels seen, heard, and valued. I warmly welcome individuals from all walks of life who are seeking guidance, healing, and personal growth.

"I believe therapy provides a personalized journey for clients to explore their story, trauma, and identity at their own pace within a safe, non-judgmental space, leading to empowerment and an enhanced quality of life."
