About Juliette
I am a registered mental health counselor intern (RMHCI) with 3 years of experience supporting clients coping with medical illnesses, grief, family and relationship dynamics, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and mental health diagnoses on the schizophrenia/psychotic disorder spectrum. I often work with individuals experiencing significant life stressors who are looking for tangible skills to help them manage more effectively.
I earned my Master of Arts in clinical psychology from the University of Central Florida. I utilize a person-centered approach as we begin work together, and integrate modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and existential therapy.
I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and I would be honored to speak with you and assist you in becoming the ideal version of yourself. Seeking help is an act of courage and vulnerability. I am looking forward to working with you!

"Having gone through therapy myself, I have an empathic understanding of what it is like to search for a therapist who truly gets you."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
With the nature of my personality being both analytical and nurturing, I have always gravitated towards wanting to help support others with their stressors. Being able to do this professionally gives me true fulfillment.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with clients who appreciate that therapy is a two-person team and requires effort from us both.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
That going to therapy is okay! And, that healing is not linear, nor perfect. Therapy can be difficult as you unpack traumas, negative belief systems, and unconscious patterns, but I believe that counseling can inspire you to make real changes in your life that are worth the effort.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, I will really want to get to know you and your personal goals: In other words, why are you coming to therapy? What do you want to be different about your life, or what do you need help coping with?
In the early stages of therapy, a main focus of mine is building rapport so we can build a safe and trustworthy foundation so that you can share what's on your mind.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I have personally experienced grief and loss along with other life experiences, like growing up in a multicultural household, that I was able to navigate with the help of a therapist. I want to be that safe space for others.
I strongly value authenticity, honesty, and empathy.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
One of my favorite words is "sonder", meaning that every single person we meet has an inner world just as complex as our own. This concept is always at the front of my mind as a therapist. What works for me may not work for you, and that's okay.
