Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I decided to become a counselor because I am deeply passionate about helping others reach their personal goals and improve their overall well-being. It brings me a sense of fulfillment to support individuals as they navigate life's challenges and discover their strengths, empowering them to make positive changes and lead more balanced, meaningful lives.

What types of clients do you work with best?

I work best with clients who are open to looking within and are willing to challenge themselves. I connect well with those who take a curious approach to life, seeking to better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we can explore new perspectives and create meaningful growth on their journey toward healing and personal development.

What type of clients are you most excited to work with?

I’m most excited to work with clients who are ready and eager to make positive changes in their lives. There's something truly inspiring about working with individuals who are motivated to take action, explore new possibilities, and create lasting transformation. I love being part of that process and supporting them as they step into a more fulfilling version of themselves.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew?

I wish all clients knew that healing and growth are not linear, and it's okay to have setbacks along the way. Progress is unique to each person, and every step, no matter how small, is a meaningful part of the journey toward a stronger, more balanced you.

Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?

I chose to practice at Thriveworks because I deeply resonate with their values of creating a supportive and client-centered environment. Thriveworks commitment to holistic care and fostering an inclusive space for personal growth aligns perfectly with my approach, and I’m excited to be part of a community that prioritizes the well-being of every individual.

What inspires you?

I’m inspired by the resilience and strength people show when they face challenges and choose to grow. Witnessing others take steps toward healing, self-discovery, and positive change motivates me every day to continue doing this work and supporting others in their journey.

What can clients expect in their first session with you?

In our first session together, clients can expect a warm, non-judgmental space where we’ll take the time to get to know each other. I’ll listen to your concerns and goals, and we’ll discuss how we can work together to create a plan that supports your unique needs.

What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?

Our first session will be about building trust and laying the foundation for a collaborative and meaningful journey forward.

What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?

Before scheduling a first session, I want clients to know that I’m dedicated to creating a safe, open space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. I value a collaborative approach, and I’m passionate about supporting you in reaching your goals and improving your well-being. I’m here to listen, understand, and work together toward positive change at a pace that feels right for you.

What do you do for fun/on your time off?

For fun, I love to read and explore new ideas, as I’m always learning and seeking ways to grow personally and professionally. I also cherish spending quality time with my loved ones, whether it's relaxing together or enjoying new experiences. Balancing my time between personal growth and meaningful connections helps me stay grounded and recharged.

What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?

One thing that defines me outside of my professional life is my love for spending time in nature. Whether hiking, walking, or just sitting quietly outdoors, I find that nature helps me recharge and feel connected to the world around me, which deeply influences my approach to life and relationships.
