Why did you decide to become a counselor?

I used to say that this field found me when in actuality we found each other. I always knew I wanted to help people. However, as I grew, it became much deeper than that. I saw that many people suffered with invisible wounds and that's when the light and bells went off. I not only wanted to help people, but I wanted to help people heal.

I tend to work best with pre-teens, teenagers, and adult women.

What type of clients are you most excited to work with?

I'm excited to work with children, pre-teens, teenagers, and young adults. They have unique developmental challenges and creative in how they arrive at a resolution.

What inspires you?

Anything uplifting. Whether it is a quote, a message, progress, or just a smile on someone's face.

What can clients expect in their first session with you?

Clients can expect to be heard.

A foundation of trust, mutual respect, and hope.

Playing with/annoying my fur-baby, spending time with family/friends, mani/pedi/massage, read, and/or anything that will make me laugh.
