About Jamie
Jamie Jones is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 14 years of experience in the mental health field. She genuinely desires to see others fully experience life and intentionally live. Get to know Jamie
Why did you decide to become a counselor?
I used to say that this field found me when in actuality we found each other. I always knew I wanted to help people. However, as I grew, it became much deeper than that. I saw that many people suffered with invisible wounds and that's when the light and bells went off. I not only wanted to help people, but I wanted to help people heal.
What types of clients do you work with best?
I tend to work best with pre-teens, teenagers, and adult women.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I'm excited to work with children, pre-teens, teenagers, and young adults. They have unique developmental challenges and creative in how they arrive at a resolution.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
That they are not broken.

What do you do for fun/on your time off?
Playing with/annoying my fur-baby, spending time with family/friends, mani/pedi/massage, read, and/or anything that will make me laugh.
