Dr. Samantha Bickram is a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist (LCP) who has worked for over 18 years in hospitals and mental health settings. Dr. Bickram specializes in helping clients to manage stress, anxiety, self-esteem, confidence issues, cope with depression, trauma, and parenting issues. She help you gain new perspectives and learn the techniques that support your lifestyle and address the challenges you are seeking therapy for.
Dr. Bickram completed her Doctoral degree in Psychology at Keiser University. Dr. Bickram also holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Addictions. Dr. Bickram specializes in mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and solutions-focused therapy (SFT).This, coupled with her professional experience, enables her to provide the guidance and support her clients are seeking.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
Therapy is a practice of self-care that all individuals feel. This can be playing basketball, knitting, hiking, listening to music and more. Therapy is all around is and in everything we do. Think about your daily activities and routines as you practice self care. Think about what makes you feel better such as going for a walk. Talk therapy can also be conducted remote and is always confidential.
What inspires you?
I enjoy seeing the positive changes and growth that clients see in one-self,this inspires me to continue to do what I do.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
I am compassionate and supportive. I have great listening skills and enjoys working collaboratively with clients.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I enjoy cooking, swimming, meditating, spending time with family and friends, and providing a helping hand in the community.
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
I help people even when not working. My motto is to spread kindness and help where I can.
