What can clients expect in their first session with you?
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s completely okay to feel unsure at first. In our first session, we’ll take time to talk about what’s been going on in your life, what’s been weighing on you, and what you hope to gain from therapy. You don’t need to have everything figured out as this is a space where you can simply show up as you are. We’ll also go over how the therapy process works and begin building a connection that feels safe and supportive.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?
My goal is to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and understood. I believe therapy works best when it’s collaborative, so we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Whether you’re navigating a difficult time or just feeling stuck, I’m here to support you with compassion, honesty, and care.
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a therapist because I truly believe in the power of being seen, heard, and accepted. At different points in life, we all need support—and reaching out is a meaningful and courageous step. I’m passionate about helping people reconnect with their strengths, work through challenges, and feel more grounded and empowered in their lives.
