Get to know Angela

What types of clients do you work with best?

Women 18 and up, including seniors, who are experiencing life transitions, stress, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, trauma, and caregiving challenges. I also work well with clients who want to improve their connection with others.

What type of clients are you most excited to work with?

Individuals who are motivated to make positive changes in their life and develop healthy new behaviors. They may feel stuck or overwhelmed and not sure how to move forward.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew?

Realistic goals can be accomplished.

What inspires you?

Clients reaching their goals inspires me! Each has a way of teaching me something I didn’t know before. Seeing clients grow through positive change is beautiful and makes what I do so rewarding. I am also inspired by spending time in nature.

What can clients expect in their first session with you?

The first session I will meet you with compassion and listen to what you have to say. It is a time to create a safe place to talk, establish trust and build rapport.

What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?

I want to accomplish an understanding of what brought you to therapy and what positive changes you would like to gain from the experience. We will decide if we are a good fit for each other. Being honest during the session is key.

What do you do for fun/on your time off?

Gardening, video games, exploring new places, attending theater, listening to music, volunteering in my community, spending time with family and my fur babies.

What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?

Always making efforts to learn new things. Learning energizes me!
