"As a wife, mom, veteran, and therapist, I understand there is no one-size-fits-all approach to navigating the terrain of day-to-day life challenges, work stress, relationship struggles, and life transitions. My mission is to meet all clients where they are and build and grow from there."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I've always had a desire to help and support others, I find it fulfilling and rewarding to be a part of others' journeys through life and see the beauty that comes on the other side of therapy.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
That they are worth it and are deserving of love, care and support, no matter where they are in their life journey
Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?
I love the flexibility to work with people and Thriveworks gives me the ability to do so in a warm and support partnership
What inspires you?
I get inspired every day by watching people overcome difficulties and seeing how they grow and become who they have always dreamed of being.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
Our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, and then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. Throughout each session, clients can expect a collaborative experience, where we will work together to create a tailored plan and goals for their specific life challenges in a compassionate and non-judgmental atmosphere. Knowing therapy can occasionally be a painful process. I leave room and space for my clients to work through their struggles and roadblocks in life at their own pace.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
I want to learn about their needs and concerns, get a good understanding of who they are by listening and providing a safe space for them to share, as well as offer realistic suggestions and skills they can use until we meet for our next session.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?
I have a down-to-earth, real-life approach to helping the people I work with. I'm compassionate yet pragmatic in how to help others with life struggles or concerns that come up in session. I meet my clients where they are and help build them up from there.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I love taking walks or hiking, traveling, and seeing new places, I love history and learning about the past, and I definitely love learning anything new, even if I'm not good at it.
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
I'm compassionate, caring, and an optimist. I see the good in people and genuinely believe that we can find joy in even the smallest things in life.
