Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
Having at a young age gone through severe trauma that left me questioning my purpose and my path in life, I was aided at this crucial time by an amazing therapist who helped start my budding interest in becoming a therapist. The combination of the phenomenal counseling that I received, in addition to my desire to aid others, launched me into the path of becoming a well-rounded and engaging therapist.
What types of clients do you work with best?
I'm dedicated to tailoring therapy to meet the unique needs of each individual, helping them develop strategies and resilience to lead fulfilling lives. This ranges from different styles based on the client's particular needs to best suit the concern. Utilizing both lived experience and educational background to emphasize acceptance of human nature while looking for change in their daily interactions.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I feel most energized working with people who are ready to be real—whether that’s teens and young adults trying to find their footing, first responders or military personnel carrying invisible burdens, or individuals healing from trauma, sexual concerns, or addiction. I’m especially drawn to clients who want a space where they don’t have to filter themselves, where they can show up exactly as they are and know they’ll be met with honesty and compassion. What excites me is walking alongside clients who may feel weighed down by life but are also searching for clarity, healthier coping, and a stronger sense of self. I bring a direct, conversational style to our work together, offering straightforward feedback and steady support to help you face challenges head-on while also building resilience, healing, and meaningful growth.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
One thing I want you to know is that healing and growth take time, and it’s important to be patient with yourself along the way. I will take the most direct route possible, but always with your needs at the helm—making sure our pace and focus reflect what feels right for you. Progress, not perfection, will guide our work together.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
In our first session, the focus is simply on getting to know you and giving you a chance to get to know me. We’ll talk openly about what brings you here and what you hope to accomplish, so we can set a clear direction for our work together. It’s about creating a foundation where your goals guide the path forward.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me lost in a good book, being a wizard, and casting spells in between shuffling up a deck for a game of Magic: The Gathering, snapping photos behind a camera, or just soaking up time with my family.
