Rhonda Mitchell is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years experience in the mental health field. She is passionate about helping children, adolescents, adults, and families live more fulfilled lives. Rhonda specializes in depression, anxiety, and stress management. Rhonda completed her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Widener University in 1997. She has worked in crisis, hospital, and school settings. Therefore, Rhonda has vast knowledge and experience in various sectors of social work. Additionally, she has previously worked in private practice.
Rhonda utilities several modalities of treatment to best serve her clients. These include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), reality therapy, and solution-focused theory.

Why did you decide to become a counselor?
I became a counselor to help guide people through life stressors and struggles. I want to apart of their journey to positive mental health.
What types of clients do you work with best?
Children, adolescents, adults, and families.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
Everyone should go to therapy, it is worth feeling better.

What inspires you?
I still love what I do especially when someone is making positive strides in their journey.

They will expect a positive interaction with expectations of therapy.

I want to learn their strengths and what they would like to get out of therapy.

I believe that clients should find a therapist that matches them to get best results.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I spend time with my son. He is involved in several activities. I love watching movies and playing games with him.
