I help clients navigate anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and relational conflict while developing greater emotional awareness, resilience, and connection. My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and grounded in evidence-based practices that promote personal growth, healing, and long-term positive change.
I earned my Doctorate in Counseling from Wilmington University. I use integrative therapeutic approaches that include cognitive-behavioral and trauma-informed practices to help clients identify barriers, shift unhelpful patterns, and create meaningful, lasting transformation.

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I decided to become a counselor because I’ve always been drawn to the power of human connection and the resilience people show in the face of adversity. I wanted to be someone who could walk alongside others during their most vulnerable moments, offering support, trust, and hope. Helping people heal, grow, and rediscover their strength is not just meaningful—it’s deeply fulfilling for me as a human.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with people who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, relationship struggles, or family tension, I offer a safe and caring space to talk things through. I connect deeply with adults, couples, and families who want to heal, grow, and feel more understood.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish every client knew that healing is possible—and you don’t have to do it alone. Therapy is a brave step toward understanding yourself, breaking old patterns, and building a life that feels more connected and fulfilling. It’s not about having all the answers; it’s about showing up, being real, and trusting that growth will come. You’re worth that journey.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming experience where we begin by getting to know each other. I’ll ask questions to better understand your story, what brings you to therapy, and what you hope to achieve. Early sessions are focused on building trust, exploring your goals, and creating a plan that feels supportive and manageable. You’ll never be rushed—we move at your pace, and I’ll guide you with compassion and care every step of the way.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is deeply shaped by the belief that every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued. Growing up in a community where emotional struggles were often hidden or misunderstood, I saw firsthand how powerful it can be to have someone truly listen without judgment. That experience, along with my commitment to equity, compassion, and resilience, drives me to create a space where clients feel safe to explore, heal, and grow. I value authenticity, connection, and the courage it takes to ask for help—and I bring those values into every session.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor therapy by truly listening to each client’s story, values, and goals. No two people are the same, so I adapt my approach to fit your pace, personality, and what feels most helpful to you. Whether you need space to process emotions, tools to manage stress, or support in relationships, I meet you where you are and walk with you toward meaningful change.
