My goal is to guide clients toward greater mental and emotional well-being, empowering them to overcome adversity and lead fulfilling lives. With compassion and expertise, I am committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those I serve.

"I see myself as a guide to assist and support you on your journey, whatever it may be and wherever it may take you. Life, trauma can hit you like a wave and sometimes the wave may take you under but other times, you can stand the wave but no matter what is in your ocean, trauma and huge swallowing waves do you have to be your entire swim. Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I was working as a crisis counselor and group facilitator for survivors of domestic violence for about two years. During this time I saw the growth and empowerment of the women with whom I worked, and I wanted to be able to do more indept supportive and empowering work to help the survivors manage the thoughts, feelings and experiences they have had and continue to experience. I felt as if survivors were often unheard and blamed for the violence and very much misunderstood. I wanted to help surivivors find their voice and speak loudly not only to others but to themselves in order for the perception to change for the best but also for the surivivors to become Thrivers.
