About Angela
Angela Brown is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 22 years of experience in both the mental health and substance abuse field. She is interested in helping youth, adults, couples, and families address their presenting issues Angela specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, phobias, OCD, and other life issues.
Angela completed her Master's in Counseling from Norfolk State University. She has the experience to help Individuals with many issues. She provides a person-centered approach to assisting people with their many issues. Her other approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, rational emotive therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, positive psychology, and reality and grounding techniques.
Angela is confident that she would be able to support you in your endeavors to gain insight into solving problems and using techniques that would allow you to better manage both presenting problems and emotions. When you are ready for services, Angela is very flexible to discuss your needs and schedule your therapy sessions based on your availability.

What do you do for fun/on your time off?
Eat out, travel, shop and have fun. I also live to spend time with my family.
