Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became passionate about therapeutic work after engaging in psychotherapy myself where I found life-long benefits engaging in a non-judgmental space that allowed me to engage more fully in my life.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work with adults who are in varying stages of their therapeutic journeys.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
There is always hope.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
My focus in the beginning stages of therapy is to get to know you and for clients to also get to know me!
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
Above all else, I value compassion for all.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
This is a topic we discuss in the beginning stages where we explore goals and preferences. And I also share any relevant knowledge and experience.
