About Meghan
I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical with over 25 years of experience helping individuals heal, grow, and thrive. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and life transitions. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, offering a calm, supportive space where clients can feel empowered to find balance, build resilience, and make meaningful changes in their lives.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University. My approach integrates evidence-based practices with a person-centered focus, meeting each client where they are. I help clients build self-awareness, manage emotions, and develop practical tools for growth and well-being.
I strive to create a warm and welcoming space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. Together, we’ll explore challenges, strengthen resilience, and foster personal growth. I invite you to take the next step toward healing and lasting positive change.

"I offer a calm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow at your own pace."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a social worker to support individuals in navigating life’s challenges with clarity and strength. I find it rewarding to help clients develop coping skills, gain insight, and take actionable steps toward lasting growth and well-being.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with adults who are ready to explore their experiences, gain self-awareness, and create positive changes in their lives. I enjoy supporting clients who want to build resilience, navigate transitions, and strengthen their sense of balance and well-being.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish all clients knew that therapy is a journey, not a quick fix. Growth and healing take time, and it’s normal to experience ups and downs along the way. With patience, self-compassion, and a safe, supportive space, meaningful change is possible for everyone.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In the first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you, understanding your goals, and exploring the challenges you’re facing. Early sessions are about building trust, clarifying what’s most important to you, and beginning to identify strategies and coping skills that support growth and positive change.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is informed by a deep respect for each person’s unique experiences and strengths. I value empathy, patience, and collaboration, and my experiences—both professionally and personally—have taught me the importance of creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore challenges, build resilience, and grow at their own pace.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor therapy by listening carefully to each client’s story, understanding their goals, and honoring their pace. I integrate different approaches and techniques to match their needs, helping them build coping skills, gain insight, and make meaningful, lasting changes that fit their life and values.
