About Christine B
Christine B. Walker is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a passion for working with individuals and families. She has extensive experience in the healthcare field, including inpatient and outpatient mental health treatment. She works from a systemic perspective, with solution-focused and motivational interviewing techniques.
With an undergraduate degree in Education and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, she has worked with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of personal challenges, from mild mood disorders and relationship concerns to severe mental health issues.
Christine offers an accepting, non-judgmental perspective in her work with her clients and seeks to work collaboratively to build hope for her clients going forward.

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I have always been fascinated by individuals and their relationships and ways to foster improvement in self care and relationship with others
What types of clients do you work with best?
Individual clients with depression and anxiety and those clients who are working to improve their connections with others
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
There is always hope. Hope to be a better person and have meaning for the future, and hope to have more meaningful relationships with others

Looking forward to working as a clinician and hopefully make a difference in others lives

I will listen, and acknowledge what they are telling me

I am accepting of who they are and what they want out of our sessions
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
Play piano, research family history, enjoy outside walks and nature
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
I am calm. I have a good sense of humor.
