About Willa
I am a licensed social work candidate with 5 years of experience supporting adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I welcome clients from all identities and backgrounds and strive to create a trauma-informed, inclusive space where you feel respected and understood. Everyone’s path looks different, and I am here to meet you exactly where you are with empathy, curiosity, and care.
I earned my master’s degree in social work from the University of Denver and offer personalized care rooted in evidence-based practices. I draw from trauma-focused and attachment-based approaches, integrating what fits your goals so treatment feels collaborative, grounded, and responsive to your needs.
I’m here to listen, help you make sense of what has shaped you, and support growth that feels possible and meaningful. This is a space for you to speak freely, explore your experiences, and work toward becoming the version of yourself you want to be. If it feels right, I would be honored to work with you.

"I’m a strong believer in the resilience of the human spirit, and that while working on yourself is hard, it’s also a portal into new possibilities and happiness."

What types of clients do you work best with?
I welcome clients from all backgrounds and life experiences. I have supported many individuals navigating trauma, neurodivergence, grief, anxiety, and mood disorders.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Healing isn’t instant, and that’s okay. Our minds may recognize what needs to shift faster than our bodies and nervous systems can adapt. Trauma and learned patterns live in the body, so true healing comes through repetition, corrective experiences, and patience. Feeling stuck or frustrated is common, often when you’re closer to meaningful change than you realize. Building self-compassion and honoring the pace of your body and nervous system are important parts of the process.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Early sessions are about understanding you and your story, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach. I take time to learn about your history, your goals, and the patterns that may be holding you back, so we can design a therapy process that fits your needs. There’s no set timeline for this—I encourage you to move at your own rhythm. My priority starting out is creating a space of comfort and trust.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is shaped by my own experiences of trauma and loss and by the virtues I hold as a therapist. Validating others is one of my core values, paired with gentle guidance and accountability when it supports growth. I value offering unconditional positive regard to my clients, encouraging the messy aspects to come forward in therapy, as well as the quirks and strengths, knowing how much full self-acceptance contributes to self-love.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I’m here to guide you with clarity while honoring your wisdom and centering what’s meaningful to you. I help you understand your diagnoses, explore what truly fits, and choose interventions that feel right for you. I bring in strategies thoughtfully and adjust based on your responses and feedback, balancing direction with respect for your autonomy.
