"In therapy, there is no one-size-fits-all, so I believe in meeting a client where they are and working on their strengths and addressing growth areas."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I decided to become a therapist to work with teens at first as I was a lost teen who needed support and didn't get the support and help I needed. I wanted to be someone I didn't have growing up. As I grew in my profession I truly found a passion for the work itself and love helping people of all ages now.
What types of clients do you work with best?
I have a passion for working with tweens, teens, parents, families, transition age youth, and adults of all ages. Anyone who has been through trauma I tend to work with really well. I have worked mostly with clients who have a trauma background.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
Therapy starts with just showing up. From there we can figure out together what it will look like for you.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
The first session can always be anxiety provoking so I want to make it as smooth as possible for you. Typically in the first session you get the opportunity to share more about yourself with me and get to know me a little better as we build our therapeutic rapport.
