About Provider

About Gerald

I come from a background of familiarity in different modalities such as CBT, DBT, Trauma Focused; and others; I typically work with all types of clients from different ages from 5 to 95 and older; and I try to assist them to overcome the challenges they face along with assisting them to meet their goals.

Clientele can expect to have a lot of support toward their goals and to making progress; and along with a lot of caring and concern for their situations in order to assist them with healing and continued growth in therapy.

I encourage you to be the best you and by working with me; we will be able to bridge that gap towards success.

Get to know Gerald

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I want to help others health from their trauma and to assist them to be their best selves.

What types of clients do you work best with?

I work with all different types of client's.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

That it is Ok to seek help and not to feel bad about seeking help; and that we all need help sometimes.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

Client's can expect a thorough assessment along with a lot of compassion for the issues they are going through.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

Personal experiences that I have experienced in my life have enhanced my practice as a therapist and provider and have helped me develop a bigger understanding of other's.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I start out asking what the client's needs and then to assess whatever needs they mention in the session.
