About Lyndz
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 13 years of experience helping people navigate the moments in life when everything feels overwhelming, uncertain, or simply too much. I work with children, adolescents, and adults facing anxiety, trauma, depression, low self-worth, and major life transitions. Whether you’re struggling with the weight of your past or feeling stuck in the present, I offer a warm, judgment-free space to feel truly heard, understand yourself more deeply, and begin creating meaningful change.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to you. I draw from trauma-informed care, EMDR, and evidence-based techniques to help you understand what’s beneath the surface, work through what’s holding you back, and build healthier ways of coping. Together, we’ll focus on healing, growth, and creating lasting change—not simply managing symptoms.
You don’t have to navigate this season of life alone. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel vulnerable, but you deserve a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported. If you’re ready to begin, I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you work toward healing, clarity, and a life that feels more like your own.

"I believe therapy is a place where you can finally feel heard without judgment, make sense of what you’ve been through, and develop the confidence and tools to create a life that feels more grounded, meaningful, and authentically yours."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a counselor because I have had my own battles, along iwth watching my friends and loved ones go through things. Also, I’ve always believed that people deserve to feel heard, understood, and valued—especially during the moments when life feels overwhelming. I’ve seen how powerful it can be when someone has a safe, nonjudgmental space to be honest about what they’re experiencing. Being able to walk alongside people through difficult seasons, witness their growth, and help them rediscover their strength is what makes this work so meaningful to me.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with clients who are ready for something to change but may not know where to begin. I especially enjoy working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, self-esteem struggles, life transitions, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. My ideal clients are willing to be honest, curious about themselves, and open to building practical tools while doing the deeper work of healing and growth.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish every client knew that there is hope, even when it feels impossible to see it for yourself. Healing isn’t about having everything figured out or pretending that difficult things didn’t happen. It’s about taking one step at a time, learning that you don’t have to carry everything alone, and discovering that your story can still have chapters filled with peace, growth, and possibility.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, we’ll complete an intake assessment where I’ll get to know you as a whole person—not just the concerns that brought you to therapy. I’ll ask about different areas of your life, what you’re experiencing, what you hope to change, and what you would like to work toward. Based on what you share and my clinical assessment, I may offer recommendations to help guide our work. As therapy continues, you set the pace. You have a voice in what we focus on, how quickly we move, and what feels right for you. My role is to walk alongside you, provide guidance when needed, and create a safe space for meaningful healing and growth.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My own life experiences, including navigating difficult seasons and witnessing people I love face their own challenges, have shaped the way I show up as a therapist. They’ve taught me the importance of compassion, resilience, hope, and having someone who will truly listen without judgment. I believe every person has a story worth understanding and that healing doesn’t have to happen alone. I bring that belief into my work by meeting clients where they are, honoring their experiences, and walking alongside them as they find their own path forward.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I believe therapy should be as unique as the person sitting across from me. I take a holistic, wholeperson approach by looking beyond symptoms and considering your experiences, relationships, environment, strengths, values, and goals. Together, we identify what matters most to you and create a path that fits your needs, comfort level, and pace. I adjust my approach as you grow, because you are not a diagnosis—you are a whole person with a story, strengths, and the capacity for meaningful change.
