I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with extensive experience in the behavioral health field since 2009. I hold a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from Northern Arizona University and a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Literature. As a bilingual therapist, I provide counseling in both English and Spanish, with an appreciation for how culture, family dynamics, and personal experiences shape each person’s emotional well-being. I work with adults, couples, and families who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, relationship difficulties, communication challenges, or significant life transitions.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. Together, we explore patterns, build insight, and develop practical coping and communication skills that support meaningful change. I strive to create a supportive, respectful environment where clients feel heard and understood as they work toward healthier relationships and lasting growth.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. You deserve a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. Change takes time, and you don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. I invite you to schedule an appointment and take that first step toward healing and growth.

"As a bilingual therapist, I value the importance of culture, family, and meaningful relationships in the healing process, and I strive to help each client feel understood while building a path toward lasting growth and emotional well-being.”"
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I chose to become a counselor because I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported as they navigate life's challenges. Throughout my work in behavioral health, I have seen how emotional struggles, past experiences, and relationship difficulties can affect a person's sense of well-being. I find meaning in helping individuals, couples, and families gain insight into themselves, strengthen their relationships, and discover healthier ways to cope and grow. Being able to walk alongside clients as they recognize their strengths, overcome obstacles, and create meaningful change is what makes this profession so rewarding to me.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with adults, couples, and families who are open to exploring their experiences, gaining a deeper understanding of themselves, and working toward meaningful change. I enjoy helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, traumarelated concerns, communication difficulties, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I especially value working with individuals and couples who want to strengthen emotional connections, break unhelpful patterns, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. I strive to create a collaborative, culturally responsive environment where clients feel safe being themselves, exploring difficult emotions, and building on their existing strengths.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
One thing I wish every client knew is that healing is not a straight line, and you don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Growth takes time, patience, and compassion for yourself, especially when working through painful experiences or changing patterns that have been present for years. Having struggles does not mean you are weak or broken. Therapy is an opportunity to better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and learn new ways to navigate life's challenges. Every small step forward matters, and you deserve the same patience and understanding you would offer someone you love.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive space where we begin getting to know each other and explore what brought you to therapy. We will discuss your concerns, personal experiences, strengths, and goals, while allowing you to share at a pace that feels comfortable for you. In the early stages of therapy, we will work together to identify patterns, understand how your experiences affect your daily life and relationships, and develop a plan that reflects your individual needs. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, and I want you to feel heard, respected, and involved in the process. You don't need to have all the answers or know exactly where to begin; we will take things one step at a time.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
My practice is guided by the values of compassion, respect, cultural understanding, and the belief that every person has the capacity for growth and change. My background in behavioral health and Spanish literature has deepened my appreciation for how culture, family, relationships, and life experiences shape the way we understand ourselves and the world around us. I strive to approach each client with curiosity and without judgment, recognizing that everyone's story is unique. I believe meaningful therapy begins with a genuine connection, a sense of safety, and a collaborative relationship where clients feel empowered to explore their challenges, recognize their strengths, and build a life that feels more fulfilling and authentic to them.
