About Stella
Stella Kebaso is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who has many years of experience helping adults with depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, and personality disorders. "It is always a pleasure helping clients and their families achieve life success," says Stella.
Stella is very passionate about mental health and the impact it can have not only on a person's wellbeing and future but on society as a whole. Her profession in healthcare began over a decade ago, with most of her experience in a Trauma 1 hospital in the DFW area. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to work in the emergency department, medical-surgical unit, long-term care, and psychiatry outpatient clinic. Stella has strived to maintain competence and professionalism in a career that she enjoys.
As an active listener who offers undivided attention to her clients, Stella can recognize and understand emotions and offer the best evidence-based care. She regularly communicates with her clients to answer questions regarding their care. Educating clients and their families on their treatment plans are vital to her practice.
"I decided to pursue this specialty to decrease the disparities in mental healthcare. Mental healthcare is vital in our society individuals should prioritize the stability and well-being of their minds," says Stella. "As a healthcare provider, I am committed to offering high-standard care geared towards continuous improvement and innovation. I also provide individualized care to ensure personal goals are attained."
