About Marie
I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with 4 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based care to teens and adults. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, mood disorders, trauma-related concerns, PTSD, insomnia, and stress-related conditions. My goal is to help clients gain clarity, stability, and confidence as they work toward improved mental health and overall well-being.
I earned my doctorate in nursing from Northern Kentucky University. I use a collaborative, trauma-informed, and evidence-based approach that integrates thoughtful medication management with supportive care. I focus on helping clients feel heard, develop insight, and build practical tools to improve mood, resilience, and daily functioning.
Seeking support is a meaningful step, and you do not have to navigate it alone. I strive to create a safe, respectful space where you feel understood and supported. Together, we will work toward balance, healing, and progress at a pace that feels right for you.

"I believe healing starts with feeling heard, and I approach care with compassion, collaboration, and respect for each person’s unique story."
Get to know Marie
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a psychiatric provider because I’ve seen how deeply mental health impacts every part of a person’s life, and I wanted to offer compassionate, evidence-based care that helps people feel understood, supported, and empowered to heal.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with clients who want to better understand their mental health, feel heard and supported, and are open to working together to create a treatment plan that fits their goals and lifestyle.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish all clients knew that seeking support is a strength, not a weakness, and that engaging in therapy is an active partnership that can help them regain clarity, control, and balance in their lives.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
During the first sessions, we get to know each other, discuss your history and current concerns, and identify your goals. You can expect a collaborative, supportive approach as we begin building a plan tailored to your needs
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
Personal experiences witnessing the impact of mental health challenges have shaped my approach. I strive to create a space where clients feel understood and empowered to navigate life’s difficulties with insight and resilience.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I adapt my approach to each client by assessing their strengths, challenges, and goals, then using strategies whether supportive counseling, coping tools, or medication management that fit their lifestyle and preferences.
