I’m a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to helping individuals navigate complex mental health challenges with compassion and evidence-based care. I hold a master’s degree in nursing, specialized in Psychiatric Mental Health from Walden University, and am certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Over the past 3 years, I have worked in outpatient clinics and telehealth, providing psychiatric evaluation and treatment across the life span. I typically see patients aged 14 and above, struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, and other psychiatric disorders.
I begin with a comprehensive, whole-person assessment that integrates psychiatric history, medical conditions, and family and social circumstances. My approach blends clinical expertise with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients reframe unhelpful thought patterns. I also use medication management, adjusting based on clinical need.
If you are seeking a compassionate and collaborative mental health professional who combines clinical expertise with genuine empathy, I invite you to reach out. Seeking support can feel like a big step, and you don’t have to navigate this journey alone. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel heard and empowered. Let’s take that next step together.

"I believe healing begins with feeling truly seen and heard, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where patient can be heard and supported. "
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I decided to become a psychiatric provider because of personal live experience, a desire to address cultural and systemic barriers in mental health care. I grow up in a community where mental health is stigmatized. Mental health stigma is deeply rooted in cultural, religious, and social beliefs, often leading to discrimination, secrecy, and delayed treatment, and is compounded by limited access to professional care.
What types of clients do you work best with?
14 years and above.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Struggling does not mean you are weak. Admitting you’re not okay and asking for support is a sign of strength, self-awareness, and courage.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Your first session is mainly about getting to know each other, setting the stage for treatment and building trust.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I believe mental health care is most effective when it is compassionate, evidence based and rooted in cultural humility. I strive to empower patients through education, shared decision making, and by validating their lived experiences.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
By building a flexible, collaborative, and individualized treatment plan that aligns with a client’s goals, preferences, cultural background, and personal history, while adapting techniques and pacing as needed.
