About Ashley
I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with 2 years of experience supporting clients across the lifespan. I work with individuals navigating mood disorders, anxiety, depression, autism, OCD, and everyday stressors. In our work together, we focus on building healthier routines, strengthening coping skills, and creating a sense of balance and well-being that fits your life.
I earned my master’s degree in nursing from Duquesne University of the Holy Spirit and specialize in medication management with supportive psychotherapy when helpful. I take a holistic, patient-centered approach and partner with each person to explore their needs, goals, and the strategies that support sustainable well-being.
Taking the first step toward change can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. When you’re ready, I’m here with compassion and steady support to help you move forward at a pace that feels right. Together, we can work toward the confidence, clarity, and balance you deserve.

"I draw on both my clinical training and meaningful life experiences to offer an understanding, grounded perspective that allows me to meet clients where they are and support them in building the positive, lasting changes they’re seeking."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
When training/studying for my Family Medicine NP specialty I noticed a pull towards mental health. I enjoy the whole person, but find that if the mind is not sound it can play a big burden on the body and the opposite is also true. I like to help my clients find the balance between both.
What types of clients do you work best with?
Those with Anxiety, Depression, and other mood disorders. I've also been doing really well with those in the neurodivergent classifications of ADHD (all types).
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Therapy, mental health, and the healing process take time, they take work, and it is an active effort towards the goals a client seeks in order to gain the benefits they want.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Early sessions will be about identifying what the clients expectations are from our services. We set goals, identify physiological issues through labs, gain ideas of where issues rank based on self-screeners, and then together make a plan to move forward together.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I have always thought that our mental and physical health are intertwined. With this in mind, I like to check clients for issues with their physical health before jumping to adding medications that way nothing is potentially missed. I also welcome open conversation with clients and shared decision making. I think this is very important in our journey together.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
Each client is unique, they are their own person coming from a background and circumstances others are not perceiving in the same ways. These all play important roles in the therapeutic perspective, as well as that of what medications may be useful. Gaining a good history & developing the rapport with clients to identify important information to make decisions is a big way we tailor both of these items in the journey.
