About Jasmine

Hello! I am Jasmine, a psychiatric nurse practitioner. I have been a mental health provider for five years, and a primary care nurse practitioner for almost 10 years. I have experience with patients as young as four years old until the end of life.

My methods are simple, and I like to use the least amount of medication possible to manage symptoms. I am a strong believer in what we think, is what we believe, is what we become! Our mental power is our best power, and each person should take their power back from situations and from trauma.

When life gives us lemons, we just make ourselves a glass of lemonade. I can't wait to enjoy a cup with you! Stay encouraged, and if you are doing your best, that is in fact enough.

Get to know Jasmine

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

Mental health and addiction touches everyone. And one person can change your entire life trajectory, and sometimes, people just need to know that they matter. That they can do whatever they put thier minds to.

What types of clients do you work best with?

I can work with anyone. I am very personable and quirky, but direct.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

Mental health is what you put into it. A lot of things in life get better or more tolerable when you learn to look at it theI right way. Mental health, does not have to define your entire life though. You are a person no matter your diagnosis, and you always matter!

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

A listening ear, a sharp and open mind, and encouragement.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

Every experience good or bad has made me a better person and provider.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

Listening and then trying to help as best as I can.
