About Diana
I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with 15 years of experience in the mental health field. I am passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate emotional and behavioral challenges. I believe our identity is not defined by illness, and I work to empower clients through medication management and thoughtful, solution-oriented care.
I earned my Master of Science in nursing from Walden University. My background as a nurse has shaped my holistic, compassionate approach to treatment. I value collaboration and believe in working alongside my clients to develop strategic, individualized plans that promote stability, growth, and long-term wellness.
You know yourself better than anyone else, and I see my role as an assistant in your care. With open communication and trust, we can work toward meaningful change within you and your community. While challenges may arise, I am committed to walking beside you and helping you experience the rewards that come with healing and progress.

"We are all personally affected, or know someone who is affected by mental health, and we will work together toward a great quality of life."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I want to help the public become aware of how everyone has been affected by mental health and remove the negative stigma that it holds.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with clients who are open to feedback and working towards improvement.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
The one thing I want all my clients to know is that they are not alone in their journey.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
The first session is a "get to know you" session where I learn about your experiences and needs and you get to ask for what type of help you are looking for.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I believe in honesty and integrity and that there is hope in all circumstances.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
Everyone has different ways of how they experience their life journey and on how they express and manage it. With that being said, I try to work for what will work best for your particular needs because not everyone is exactly the same.
Does Diana prescribe medications effective for the treatment of ADHD?
Yes - when clinically appropriate, Diana may prescribe both non-stimulant and stimulant medication for the treatment of ADHD.
