I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and other mental health concerns. I value individualized treatment and strive to create a supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their healing journey.

I earned my Master of Science in nursing from Drexel University. My approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, and I collaborate closely with clients to develop thoughtful treatment plans that align with their goals and lived experiences.

If you are feeling overwhelmed or seeking support, recovery and wellness are possible. I am here to partner with you in building coping skills, improving symptom management, and creating meaningful, lasting change. I encourage you to schedule an appointment to explore your treatment options.

Get to know James

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I became a psychiatric provider to help individuals in need. It has been rewarding to assist in expanding access to treatment and reducing the stigma of seeking help during difficult times.

What types of clients do you work best with?

I work best with clients who value a collaborative process that emphasizes being listened to and understood.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

Clients have the right to receive treatment that prioritizes their needs as a person through a comprehensive approach.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

Clients can expect to review their background and history as it relates to their current symptoms. A treatment plan will be developed based on the goals and expectations discussed during the appointment.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

Patients should feel comfortable and respected in a stigma-free environment. A trauma-informed approach is invaluable, recognizing that many individuals have been impacted by trauma.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

The therapeutic process is tailored to the individual's unique needs through collaboration, mutual respect, and the building of an alliance in which topics and issues can be explored freely.
