About Erika

As a PMHNP with six years of experience, instilling your voice in the therapeutic relationship is my passion. I've had the opportunity to help clients navigate a wide range of mental health challenges, and a deep recognition of the need for accessible mental health care has shaped my career and my commitment to this work. Mental health is one of the most important aspects of overall health, yet it is far too often overlooked.

A holistic approach is the focus of my practice to address the mental, physical, and emotional needs of each individual. We will incorporate therapy to help with coping strategies as well as medication management to help jump start your healing.

Acting as your advocate, I will provide a supportive and calm environment that is free of judgment. Helping you see your strength and assisting you as you grow through this journey of life is top priority. It is an honor to be a resource as you heal and reclaim your time.

Get to know Erika

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

Throughout life, I have witnessed the impact mental health conditions can have on an individual and the community. Witnessing the need for mental health support, encouraged me to begin my career in mental health.

What types of clients do you work best with?

Individuals who are ready to prioritize their healing journey.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

Seeking support for mental health is a sign of strength, not weakness.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

Your needs are the priority. We will begin with discussing your current challenges, goals, and your learning styles. We will discuss how you cope with situations and your emotions and what works and doesn't work for you.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

My passion to destigmatize the mental health field is the foundation of my practice.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

Sessions are designed as a collaborative relationship to develop a successful treatment plan. We will discuss what treatments have worked in the past as well as what hasn't. We will discuss the benefits and risks of medications and offer alternatives that will suit your needs. You are the pilot of your life. We will work together on achieving your desired goals.
