About Provider

About Elizabeth

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience across emergency, medical, and mental health settings. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders, focusing on helping them understand what’s driving their symptoms in order to feel more in control of their mental health.

I take a practical, collaborative approach that combines thoughtful medication management with education and clear communication. I help patients understand how their brain and body are interacting, so treatment feels intentional—not trial and error—and progress feels achievable.

Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, but it doesn’t have to be complicated. I focus on helping you understand what’s going on and creating a plan that actually works for you.

Get to know Elizabeth

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I chose this field because I’ve seen how much mental health impacts every aspect of a person’s life, and how often people feel misunderstood or stuck without clear answers. I wanted to provide care that is thoughtful, practical, and actually helps people understand what they’re experiencing and how to move forward.

What types of clients do you work best with?

I work best with individuals who want to better understand what’s driving their symptoms and take an active role in their care. I commonly support kids, adolescents, and adults with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood concerns, particularly those who feel stuck or haven’t gotten clear answers from past treatment.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

Progress in mental health isn’t always linear, and feeling better doesn’t happen overnight—but with the right approach, it should feel intentional and make sense. My goal is to help you understand what’s happening in your mind and body, so progress feels clear, not confusing or random.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

In the first session, we focus on understanding your history, current concerns, and what you’re hoping to improve. I take a structured but collaborative approach, asking targeted questions to get a clear picture of what’s going on. Early on, we work toward a plan that feels practical and personalized, so you leave with clarity, not just more questions.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

My approach is shaped by both my clinical experience and personal insight into how health challenges can impact daily life. I value honesty, clear communication, collaboration, and helping patients feel empowered in understanding their symptoms and treatment.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I tailor care by looking at the full picture—symptoms, history, lifestyle, and individual goals—rather than using a one-size-fitsall approach. We adjust treatment plans based on your response, with clear communication and collaboration to make care feel personalized, effective, and adaptable over time.
