About Diane

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 20 years of experience in mental health. I provide evidence-based, individualized psychiatric care across the lifespan for individuals experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and life transitions. I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel understood while working toward their mental health goals.

My approach combines evidence-based psychiatric care with individualized treatment planning. I collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs, identify goals, and develop effective strategies for improving mental wellness. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and life transitions, while creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.

Taking the first step toward better mental health can feel challenging, but you don't have to navigate it alone. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood. I welcome the opportunity to partner with you on your journey toward improved mental wellness and a more balanced life.

"Current clients describe me as a great listener, and I will strive to genuinely understand what you've been feeling so we can come up with the best plan of action. Opening up to someone new can be challenging and I will work with you in a non-judgmental environment where you feel heard, understood and valued."

Get to know Diane

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

To address shortages in mental health care and to form relationships with my clients.

What types of clients do you work best with?

Any.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

For most people it really works.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

Non-judgmental listening, caring, collaboration, and respect.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

Everyone deserves help when they need it.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

It is highly individualized dependent on the client. A 'cookie cutter' approach is not successful for everyone.
