About Erika
I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner based in Massachusetts, working with teenagers and adults of all ages experiencing a range of mental health concerns. I completed a master's degree in adult gerontology, followed by a post-master's degree in mental health. Through my education and experience, I have developed a deep understanding of the challenges that can affect mental well-being. My focus is on identifying these challenges and creating a customized plan to help improve mental health.
I am deeply passionate about working with teenagers and adults of all ages who feel overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, or depression related to life's challenges, such as family issues, career pressures, and relationship difficulties. I am dedicated to helping those who are motivated to improve their situation and achieve their goals.
Life's challenges can be difficult, but developing new skills is a powerful way to reclaim our strength and confidence! Let's embrace this journey together!

"I understand how deeply life experiences can affect us, and I believe that by embracing new life skills, we can overcome challenges and tap into our incredible inner strength. "

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish my clients knew about the mental health process and how much I care about the important work we do together.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, we will give a brief introduction, address specific challenges, and develop a personalized plan that may include medication therapy, psychotherapy, or both.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
Personalized therapy understands that everyone’s mental health journey is distinct and deeply personal. By adapting therapy to fit the client's unique history, personality, and challenges, we aim to create a more meaningful and effective healing experience. This approach values the client as the expert in their own life, fostering an environment where they are encouraged to take an active role in their own healing journey.
