I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 14 years of experience specializing in mental health. I work with adolescents and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and stress. My clients are often seeking clarity, emotional balance, and tools to cope and thrive. I’m passionate about helping individuals feel empowered, supported, and equipped to lead more fulfilling lives.
I earned my Doctorate in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University. My approach is compassionate and client-centered, blending evidence-based practices with holistic care. I understand how hard it can be to take the first step toward healing, and you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion and support. If you’re ready to begin your journey toward growth and balance, I invite you to take that next step because your well-being truly matters.

"I provide a safe and compassionate space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported, drawing from an authentic understanding of how life’s overwhelming challenges affect us and how building new skills can lead to healing and empowerment."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I chose to become a psychiatric provider because I have a deep passion for caring for others, expanding access to mental health care, and supporting those facing overwhelming life challenges—including individuals navigating dysfunctional homes and struggling relationships.
What types of clients do you work best with?
Clients with ADHD, Anxiety, Bipolar depression I&II, Depression, Mood disorders, Post-traumatic stress disorder, grief, and schizophrenia.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish all clients knew that healing takes time and looks different for everyone. It's okay to feel overwhelmed—what matters is showing up for yourself. Therapy isn’t about having all the answers; it’s a safe space to rediscover your strength, learn new skills, and begin creating the life you deserve.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, clients can expect a safe, nonjudgmental space where we’ll get to know each other and begin exploring what brings them to therapy. I’ll ask questions to understand your history, current challenges, and goals. In the early stages, we’ll work together to build trust, clarify your needs, and develop a personalized plan that supports healing, growth, and lasting change.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is deeply informed by my belief in compassion, respect, and the resilience of the human spirit. Having witnessed how overwhelming life challenges and difficult family dynamics impact mental health, I’m committed to providing care that honors each person’s unique story and empowers them to reclaim control and hope in their lives.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor therapy by truly listening to each client’s story and understanding their individual strengths, challenges, and goals. I blend evidence-based techniques with a flexible, compassionate approach—adapting my methods to fit their cultural background, life experiences, and personal preferences—so therapy feels relevant and empowering for them.
