About Annet
I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with 10 years of experience providing psychiatric care in inpatient, emergency, and community mental health settings. I work with adolescents and adults experiencing depression, anxiety,, trauma, severe and persistent mental illness, and co-occurring substance use disorders. I support clients seeking symptom relief, emotional stability, and healthier coping skills.
I earned my master’s in nursing from Regis College. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based psychiatric care. I take time to understand each client’s unique experiences and goals and develop individualized treatment plans focused on stability, insight, and long-term progress.
Seeking support is a meaningful and courageous step. I strive to provide compassionate, consistent, and thoughtful care in a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and respected. When you are ready, I look forward to supporting you on your path toward improved well-being and inviting you to schedule an appointment.

"I believe in meeting people where they are, listening without judgment, and partnering with them to build stability, resilience, and hope for lasting change."
Get to know Annet
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I decided to become a psychiatric provider because I’ve always been drawn to understanding people’s stories and supporting them through some of their most vulnerable moments. My years as a nurse showed me how powerful compassionate, consistent mental health care can be in helping people regain stability, dignity, and hope, and I wanted to deepen my role in guiding that healing process.
What types of clients do you work best with?
Depressed, PTSD, Anxiety, Mood disorders, Bipolar disorder
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish all clients knew that healing is not linear and that needing support does not mean you are weak or failing but it means you are human. Progress often happens in small, meaningful steps, and with patience, collaboration, and the right support, lasting change is possible.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where we focus on understanding what brings them in, their history, and what they hope to gain from treatment. Early on, I prioritize listening, building trust, and collaborating on a clear, individualized plan so clients feel supported, informed, and involved from the start.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor care by taking time to understand each client’s background, symptoms, strengths, culture, and goals, and by listening closely to what feels most important to them.
