Dr. Tiffni Daniel is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 9 years of experience as a psychiatric/mental health nurse and 5 years as an assistant professor in charge of psychiatric/mental health instruction within an undergraduate nursing program. She specializes in supporting individuals struggling with behavioral issues, mental stress, anger, and ADHD, among other concerns. Dr. Daniel is a lifelong resident of Columbus, GA. She is a wife, mother, and dedicated healthcare worker with interests in mental health and community health.
Dr. Daniel obtained her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Augusta University. In addition to medication management when appropriate, she uses clinical approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing.

What inspires you?
Resilience. Everyone is one situation or stressor away from mental stress and illness. However the brain and body are powerful and capable of rebounding from these circumstances.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
Clients can expect and in depth initial evaluation that includes addressing multiple aspects of your life and what makes you, you. This includes past experiences, treatments and also your expectations and treatment goals moving forward
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
Establishing trust and rapport is the biggest accomplishment in the first session
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?
There is no such thing as too much information or a stupid question. The more I know, the better
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
In my time off I love to read, cook and spend time with my family
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
My personality is that of calm which seems to assist in my ability to meet and interact with others.
