Why did you decide to become a psychiatric provider?

What types of clients do you work with best?
I work best with clients who are interested in playing an active role in their treatment. Those who want to be educated and are invested in improving how they feel.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I'm excited to work with anyone who is excited about changing their life.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
That their opinion matters.
What inspires you?
I am inspired by perseverance and hope, in whatever form they present.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
Our first session will include a lot of fact finding, with me asking questions about their history , us getting to know each other, and us collaborating on what their ideal life would look like.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first counseling session?
That we will have candid discussions, talking about their history and what led them to seek treatment. I also want them to know that they will not be judged or disrespected in any manner.

I love to read. It is my favorite pastime.
