About Joella
I am a board-certified advanced practice registered nurse specializing in psychiatric mental health, with over 20 years of experience. I'm a Florida State University graduate and a Florida native who strives to make a difference in my community daily. Mental illness is extremely personal, yet often affects more than just one person. Worry, sadness, or feeling overwhelmed are only a few symptoms that make it hard to function. I help individuals and families across all ages with mental health needs ranging from mild to severe, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar, schizophrenia, dissociation, OCD, and more.
I use an integrative, personalized approach to assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients across the lifespan with medication management, from age 6 to adulthood. I work with a diverse group of patients and conditions including ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, depression, insomnia, and more. Each treatment plan is individualized to your needs.
We all have different struggles that can affect our lives, families, jobs, and children daily. You don't have to keep handling them alone. Please feel free to schedule with me and let's discuss your concerns. Let's figure out the best approach to getting your life back to where you feel happy, supported, and cared for.

"As someone who has navigated personal mental health situations, I bring a deeply empathetic and firsthand understanding of the profound impact lack of mental health resources have on us daily. "
