What types of clients do you work with best?
I work best with patients who are open to collaboration and willing to engage in the process of understanding their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, especially when they are motivated to explore coping strategies, develop self-awareness, and take an active role in their treatment. Patients who value a supportive, stigma-free, and compassionate environment tend to thrive the most in my care.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I am most interested in patients who are motivated to understand themselves and their mental health, whether they’re navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, or other challenges. I enjoy partnering with individuals who want to explore growth, develop coping strategies, and build a life that feels balanced and fulfilling.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
Your symptoms do not define you. They are experiences you’re having often from genetics, environment, trauma, and stress at this point in your life. With the right mix of support, treatment, and self-compassion, meaningful change is possible.

What inspires you?
Witnessing their resilience and capacity for growth. I’m motivated by the opportunity to help individuals feel heard, supported, and empowered, and to guide them toward healing and long-term well-being. Seeing patients gain insight, develop coping strategies, and take steps toward a more balanced and fulfilling life reminds me why mental health care is so meaningful
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
Patients can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where their experiences and concerns are heard and respected. I will take time to understand their current symptoms, mental health history, and personal goals. Together, we’ll explore what brought them to treatment and begin discussing options for care, including therapy, medication, or a combination, if appropriate. The focus is on building trust, clarifying expectations, and creating a collaborative plan that supports their well-being from the very beginning.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where the patient feels heard and understood. I need to gather a clear picture of their current concerns, mental health history, and personal goals, while establishing trust and rapport. Together, we’ll identify immediate needs, discuss potential treatment options, and start developing a collaborative plan that lays the foundation for healing, growth, and long-term well-being.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?
I take a collaborative approach, partnering with patients to understand their experiences, set personalized goals, and create tailored plans for healing and growth. I provide support, education, and safe, individualized medication management based on each patient’s needs and concerns.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
Exercising such as walking, bicycling, swimming, and gardening
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
One thing that defines me is my genuine curiosity and compassion for others. I love learning about people’s stories, perspectives, and experiences, and I’m naturally drawn to understanding what makes each person unique. This curiosity fuels my empathy and helps me connect deeply with others.
