Darrin Gooding is a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 9 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered, and evidence-based care using his skills and knowledge as a mental health nurse practitioner.

Darrin Completed his Master’s in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at George Washington University and a earned post-master’s certificate as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Liberty University. He is a veteran of the Army and is a military spouse. He uses a warm, evidence-based approach to optimize medication management.

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

Darrin saw the need for more availability for patients to access quality psychiatric care. Working in underserved areas he saw first hand the impact lack of providers caused patients.
