Olubunmi Moses is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who has years of experience working with children, teens, and adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and chronic stress.
Olubunmi completed her Master's degree in Nursing at Walden University and her Bachelor's degree in Nursing at the University of Maryland. She has extensive experience caring for patients in different age groups and different cultural backgrounds. She has extensive clinical experience working with inpatient clients in a hospital setting. Olubunmi integrates different therapies like medication therapy. behavior management. culturally sensitive, faith-based therapy (FBT), and person-centered techniques in developing an effective plan of care.

Why did you decide to become a psychiatric provider?
I decided to become a psychiatric provider because it gives me the opportunity to practice in a field that matches my skills and clinical experience which enables me to make a positive impact on patient's wellbeing, and help them achieve their maximal potential.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
The clients that I am most excited to work with are patients who accepts their diagnosis, and are willing to be active participants in developing an effective plan of care and are compliant with therapy, which helps to promote optimal patient outcome.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
The one thing I wish all clients knew is that most mental health disorders can be well managed if the clients are determined to make the plan of care work by attending their therapy sessions and are compliant with all their medication. It is also important that clients understand that they need to be consistent in taking their medication in order to get a positive outcome.

The clients should know I am hardworking, dedicated, caring, competent, and I am committed to providing excellent patient care. I also understand the importance of maintaining a good professional client relationship, and confidentiality, and I always put the clients first.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I enjoy reading books and watching movies, I like to get immersed in the story line and this helps me to relax, learn, and have fun. I also enjoy going to the gym to exercise, it helps me to stay active, healthy, and I feel great after a good physical effort.
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
I am very caring, kind, compassionate, honest and I like to give back to the community. I am also confident, and resilient and I am able to adapt to different situations and still stay focused on the goal.
