About Vitoria
I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who meets clients where they are. No two people are the same, so I personalize every treatment plan to the individual—not based on a one-size-fits-all approach. You can expect compassionate, individualized care that may include medication management, therapy, or both, along with tangible resources to support you between sessions.
I work with adults and teens navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, sleep issues, postpartum depression, and postpartum anxiety. My goal is to help you feel more in control and like yourself again, in a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space.
Taking the first step can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to do it alone. I'm here to listen, support, and guide you at your own pace. When you're ready, I welcome you to book a session and take that first step toward feeling better.

"As both a mental health provider and a mother, I understand that life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, and I strive to create a supportive, judgment-free space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. "

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I decided to become a psychiatric provider because I have always felt drawn to helping people feel seen, heard, and supported during some of the most vulnerable moments in their lives. Through my experience as a psychiatric nurse and now as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I have seen how compassionate, evidence-based care can help clients regain hope, improve daily functioning, and feel more in control of their mental health.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, life transitions, sleep difficulties, and postpartum mental health concerns. Many of my clients are professionals, parents, and individuals who feel overwhelmed by daily responsibilities and are looking for practical tools, emotional support, and personalized treatment to help them regain balance and improve their quality of life. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable discussing their concerns and working toward meaningful, lasting change.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
One thing I wish all clients knew is that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Healing is rarely a straight line, and meaningful progress often happens through small, consistent steps rather than dramatic changes overnight. Whether through therapy, medication, or a combination of both, growth is possible, and you do not have to navigate life's challenges alone.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
On our first session, my goal is to create a comfortable, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you feel heard and understood. We will discuss your current concerns, symptoms, personal history, treatment goals, and any previous experiences with therapy or medication. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that reflects your unique needs and goals. During the early stages of treatment, clients can expect a collaborative approach that may include therapy, medication management when appropriate, education about mental health symptoms, and practical strategies to help improve daily functioning and overall well-being. My focus is on building a strong therapeutic relationship and helping you make meaningful, sustainable progress at a pace that feels right for you.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is guided by the belief that every person deserves to be treated with compassion, respect, and dignity. As both a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a mother, I understand that life can present unexpected challenges that affect our emotional well-being, relationships, and sense of self. My experience caring for individuals across a variety of mental health settings has reinforced the importance of meeting people where they are, listening without judgment, and creating a safe space for healing and growth.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I value collaboration, authenticity, and evidencebased care, and I strive to help each client feel empowered, supported, and hopeful throughout their mental health journey.
