About QiongQiong Jenny
I'm a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) providing compassionate, evidence-based care. I have 6 years of experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning across outpatient, community mental health, and telepsychiatry settings. I hold an MSN in psychiatric-mental health. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults navigating anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, and adjustment difficulties. Many clients seek relief from persistent symptoms and greater stability, while others want a safe space to explore their experiences and develop coping strategies.
My goal is to partner with each client to create a personalized treatment plan that may include psychotherapy, medication management, lifestyle interventions, and ongoing support. I believe in a collaborative, holistic approach that honors each person's unique story while empowering them to achieve their mental health goals and improve their quality of life.
I want you to know that your feelings matter—and I truly see where you're coming from. I understand how important it is to feel supported, and I'm here to help you take the next step with confidence. If you're ready, I'd love to connect so we can explore how we can work together to make things easier for you.

"I believe healing begins with feeling truly seen and heard, and as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I combine evidence-based care with genuine compassion to support each person’s unique journey toward mental wellness."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
Working in mental health care provides the chance to help individuals improve their quality of life. The support and treatment I provide can significantly alleviate the suffering caused by mental health issues, making my work deeply meaningful for our society.
What types of clients do you work best with?
Depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and substance use disorder, insomnia, ADHD.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Progress can feel like two steps forward, one step back — and that’s normal. Even when it feels like you’re “slipping,” you’re still learning, building resilience, and moving forward overall.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Expect a thorough but respectful conversation that prioritizes your comfort and safety. Bring all relevant information to the first visit. Early therapy is about building trust, understanding your needs, and creating a personalized plan — much of the work happens outside sessions, so be ready to practice new strategies at home.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My journey into psychiatricmental health nursing began in childhood, where I witnessed the profound impact that illness and crisis can have on children and their families. Growing up, I saw my mother manage a diagnosis of bipolar disorder, and I experienced the tragic loss of my aunt to suicide after she was unable to access appropriate mental health care. Later, while working in a psychiatric ward, I saw firsthand how patients could achieve stability through medication and structured psychiatric therapies. These personal and professional experiences have driven my commitment to becoming a well-prepared psychiatric nurse practitioner.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
Person-Centered Assessment: The focus is on the individual’s unique life story, goals, and aspirations rather than just a cluster of symptoms. This includes eliciting a detailed history of family, education, relationships, and personal losses to form a comprehensive understanding of the person.
