About Jessica
Hello, my name is Jessica Watt, a board-certified PMHNP with a passion for helping individuals improve their mental health. I care for adults in outpatient psychiatry and substance use treatment settings, providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and evidence-based care. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2015 and my Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2022. I primarily work with adults experiencing substance use disorder, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, trauma-related concerns, insomnia, and other mood disorders.
I believe effective mental health treatment is built on trust, collaboration, and individualized care. I take time to listen to your concerns and develop a treatment plan that aligns with your goals. My approach combines evidence-based medication management with education and practical strategies to help you understand your symptoms and make progress.
Taking the first step can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to face it alone. Whether you are facing new challenges or struggling for years, you deserve compassionate care. I am committed to providing a safe, respectful, judgment-free space where you can feel empowered to make meaningful changes. If you are ready, I look forward to partnering with you.

"I strive to create a collaborative relationship where clients feel comfortable, respected, and empowered throughout their mental health journey."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a psychiatric provider because I wanted to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by helping them through some of their most difficult moments. Mental Health affects every aspect of life, and I believe everyone deserves compassionate, individualized care where they feel heard, understood, and supported. It is incredibly rewarding to see clients regain hope, confidence, and a sense of control as they make progress.
What types of clients do you work best with?
Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, ADHD.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish every client knew that healing is not about being "fixed"-it is about making some progress, learning new coping skills, and recognizing that setbacks are a normal part of growth.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
You can expect a thorough, collaborative evaluation where we discuss your symptoms, health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. I will explain the benefits, possible side effects that are the most common, and what to expect moving forward. I want you to feel comfortable, informed, and actively involved in every treatment decision.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is guided by empathy, respect, and the belief that meaningful change happens when clients feel heard and are actively involved in their treatment.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I work collaboratively with each client to create an individualized treatment plan, adjusting recommendations as needs change and progress is made.
