About Sarah

Hello, my name is Sarah Clonch I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with approximately fourteen years of experience. I enjoy working with a wide range of clients, from daily life stress to personal trauma. I am a caring, supportive, and understanding therapist that works with adults and couples. I believe in helping clients challenge the thoughts and behaviors that add to stress on their lives, and work to replace those with healthier perspectives and coping skills. My approach is centered on meeting clients where they are and establishing connection through their thoughts, feelings, and actions.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and mindfulness techniques. I value the art of listening and being truly present — creating a space where clients can show up as they are, without judgement, and feel truly heard.

No matter where you are in your journey, you don't have to go through it alone. Healing and growth are possible, and you deserve support every step of the way. If this feels like the right fit, I invite you to reach out and schedule a session — taking that first step can be the beginning of meaningful change.

Get to know Sarah

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

One of the most important things to understand about therapy is that you don't have to be in crisis for therapy to be helpful. Taking care of your mental health is not a last resort, its a meaningful and proactive step toward living a more balance, connected, and fulfilling life.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

In the first session you can expect a warm, welcoming space where the focus is simply getting to know the client. We will talk about what brings you in, what you have been experiencing, and what your are hoping might feel different in your life. There's no pressure to share everything all at once, you can go at your own space and we will move in a way that feels comfortable for you. I may ask questions to better understand your background, current challenges, and strengths but this is also your time to ask questions and get a feel for whether this space feels like a good fit.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I tailor therapy by starting with the understanding that no two people are the same. Each client brings their own story, strengths, challenges, and goals, so our work together is personalized to to fit the client. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process. My role is to meet the client where they are, adapt as needed, and create a space where they feel supported, understood, and empowered throughout their journey.
