About Provider

About Sheree

I am a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) with 14 years of experience providing therapy to individuals facing chronic illness, medical diagnosis crisis, grief, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression and multiple other mental health diagnosis. I have experience supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community. I work with a wide range of clients and tailor care to each person’s unique goals and needs.

I earned my Master of Social Work from Eastern Washington University. My approach includes cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, strength-based therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, Gottman method interventions, motivational interviewing, boundary-focused work, and supportive therapy.

I am a nonjudgmental and compassionate therapist who strives to create a relaxed, safe space where you feel heard and supported. Together, we will identify meaningful goals and develop practical strategies to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

Get to know Sheree

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I have been through many adversities and overcome them with a positive outlook with the help of counselors and my supportive community of friends. I am a strong advocate for people to move forward in life and want to help them learn tools to be able to move forward in a positive way

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

I wish clients knew that therapy is and can be a positive experience, helping them move forward to learn coping strategies, process trauma and heal. Therapy does not have to be a stigma. It is the person journey, not anyone else's journey.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

I am a non-judgmental person. I understand clients come from all backgrounds and experiences in life. I enjoy learning about others values, ethnicity and belief systems and I respect who each individual is. I have had many life experiences which have broadened my abilities to work with and have empathy for all clients.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I attempt to honor each clients needs, values, beliefs, cultural and ethnic beliefs. I will create a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere, meeting each client where they are at. I want each client to feel heard and understood. I will work at the client’s pace.
